Danielle F. Ducrest: I’m a Cajun woman with a lifelong love of fantasy, beads and chocolate. My BA in Creative Writing at Eckerd College culminated in a novella about a family split up via court-order-supported time travel. For my MFA in Creative Writing at Texas State University, my thesis was a YA novel about teenagers who lose their magical abilities as they enter adulthood. As for my professional publications, I have been a feature writer and member of staff for Overture Magazine, TravelHost South Louisiana, Texas Books in Review and other periodicals. My fan fiction, written between the ages of 13 and 31, can be found online. My art has been displayed at venues in Louisiana and Texas.
