Total Time: No idea because I didn't keep track--somewhere around 20-30 hours
Materials Used:
I worked on and off on this fanart painting piece in 2013. The aim was to make a Michael!Dean painting, which if you're familiar with the Supernatural fandom, is a common theme in fanart. The character, Dean Winchester, is human on the show, but a popular fandom "what if" scenario is to imagine if Dean was actually somehow the archangel Michael, who is also a canon character on the show. In fanart, a lot of Michael!Dean paintings show Dean posing with wings. I wanted to try that out myself. I still do, since the painting is a work-in-progress--I've painted Dean, but I haven't painted the wings yet. Regardless, I thought I'd do this journal to show what I've done so far.
Can it really be called a "photo journal" if the .jpgs were never photographs? Maybe not. Oh, well. Also, I want to apologize for the low quality of the images; I tried to clean it up as best as I could, but blogspot seems to insist on displaying lower-quality images that what I uploaded.
