Photo Journal, Belated Week Six Post: Overlapping Magnesite Bracelet

I've never done bracelets before this month. Bobbins are too bulky, making them undesirable for necklaces, but now that I'm doing more beadwork without bobbins, I've been coming up with some ideas for bracelet designs.

The photos below are not nearly as helpful as I'd like them to be. I intend to publish a tutorial with better pictures/drawn illustrations, hopefully next week, about how to make this bracelet. Stay tuned.

Total Time: 1 hour and 30 minutes

Materials:

  • 2-hole puffed rectangle magnesite beads, dyed turquoise
  • 2 antiqued brass bangle bracelets
  • Aqua silamide beadstring
  • Plastic lid containers used as bead trays
  • Size 10 long beading needles
  • Scissors
  • Round nose or flat nose pliers

All that's left to do is spread a little glue on the knots and cut off the excess thread.

Like I said earlier, I'm going to publish a detailed tutorial about how to do this bracelet soon.
